Production, shipping and sizes
Every SurfMap tee starts as a chart of the seafloor and ends up on a Comfort Colors 1717, printed when you order it by a partner close to you. Here is the whole trip, from the data to your door.
How a tee is made
The chart on the back is built from OpenStreetMap coastline surveys and GMRT sonar bathymetry, set the way a hydrographic office would set it. Every number on it is real. The front carries the spot name, over the heart.
The print files go to the print shop nearest the delivery address: Riga or Barcelona for Europe, otherwise the US, the UK, Canada or Japan. The chart is printed straight onto the garment dyed ring spun cotton with water based inks.
Timeline
Printing takes 2 to 5 working days, then shipping adds 2 to 7 depending on where you are. Count on 5 to 10 working days in all for Europe, the UK and the US, longer for other countries.
We email you when the order is confirmed, and again with a tracking link when the parcel leaves.
Shipping
Prices are shown in the currency of wherever the shirt is going. Orders for the European Union are printed inside the European Union, so there is no customs duty to pay on arrival.

Size chart
Unisex, relaxed fit. Measured flat: chest width just under the arms, length from the top of the shoulder to the hem. Between two sizes, take the larger one.

Garment dyed cotton is pre-shrunk; expect at most a small change after the first wash.
Some garment colours stop earlier: Mustard runs S to 2XL.
If something is wrong
Each shirt is printed for you alone, so we cannot exchange it for a change of mind or a change of size. The chart above will help you get the size right the first time.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted, or it is not what you ordered, write to contact@surf-map.com within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We reprint it or refund you, your choice, and it costs you nothing.
